This is what clients say about me:
I’m really grateful to have Sisse in my life. She radiates a warm and genuine empathy for the people she works with. I felt at ease in telling her things about my life that I have carried along for a long time. It felt so good to finally let go of my secret and she helped me every step of the way. I highly recommend Sisse. It was great to be able to express myself in my native language even though I haven’t been living in Denmark for many years.
Sisse was a huge help to me when I needed to change my career. She was an excellent listener with insightful suggestions and advice. With Sisse’s help I was able to narrow down what were my most important goals and desires. Her sessions helped give me the confidence I needed to move forward with my career. I am now in a much better work situation and have an increased feeling of professional satisfaction.
I found Sisse right at a time in my life where I was ready to work on myself and my emotions. With each session, Sisse helped me reflect, see my progress, and helped me make small steps in developing a better sense of self. She is the first therapist I stuck with and she gave me the space to explore many sides of myself that were positive and some that needed work. She helped me see the "both and" in life. I am grateful to have met her when I did, and to have worked with her.
Thanks to Sisse, I was able to rediscover myself after a few challenging years. She helped me restore my self-esteem and provided me with a wealth of tools to help me feel better about myself and manage my emotions more effectively. Sisse's extensive experience as an expat and her deep understanding of French culture were incredibly beneficial, as she perfectly understands the challenges and emotions that expats face.
Sisse is a fantastic therapist! Her warm and open yet pinpoint approach to mental stress allows one to feel accepted and forthcoming, with absolutely no fear of being judged. When encountering those subjects that are tougher to talk about, she is an expert in helping to identify and work through the feelings, while also helping to better understand and accept these difficulties, rather than to abscond from them.
Additionally, her background and understanding of the difficulties that arise when moving to a foreign country were extremely refreshing to me. From the first session, I immediately felt that Sisse is someone who truly cares about others and uses her patience, experience and knowledge to help them. I felt that every second of every session was worthwhile, and I never felt rushed or patronized, which was an issue that I experienced with previous therapists. I HIGHLY recommend her to any expat who might feel confused and alone in their new culture, but also to those who need a warm and friendly person with experience to help with trauma and manage stress.
Since my sessions with Sisse, I feel that I am able to navigate through the trials of life much more confidently, and most importantly, with kindness and recognition of my feelings. I can say, hands down, that Sisse is the best therapist I’ve ever had, and I credit her greatly for helping me understand my traumas, how they manifest themselves, and how to take control of my thoughts through acceptance and kindness.
I cannot express enough how lucky I am to have had Sisse as my therapist – from the moment I stepped into her office, I felt extremely welcomed. Her warmth, empathy, and genuine care created a safe and open space where I could be myself without any reservation. Sisse is a constant source of comfort; she offers guidance and wisdom with nurturing support.
After a long break from therapy, I knew it was time to resume my healing journey and to understand my trauma and how my childhood experiences impacted the way I am today—in the hope to overcome long years of battling anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. I found Sisse to be a highly skilled and compassionate therapist. She helped me use my past as a tool to understand my reactions, behavioral patterns, attachments, and the way I relate to others. She was patient and supportive, while also being proactive and challenging when needed. We delved deep into my past, exploring my upbringing and my relationship with my parents. The aim was to decode and address the self-sabotaging tendencies, high self-criticism, perfectionism, overachieving drive, people-pleasing habits, lack of healthy boundaries, fear of rejection and abandonment that had been holding me back. Through our work together, Sisse shed light on how these patterns took root in my childhood and persistently influenced my adult life. Further, she equipped me with valuable skills to effectively manage and overcome these burdens.
Under Sisse’s guidance, I’ve discovered a path to self-discovery, healing, and personal empowerment. I’ve gained a better understanding of myself and acquired invaluable life skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. I’m grateful for the positive impact she’s had on my life. I am now more aware of my triggers and coping mechanisms, and I am better equipped to manage whatever life throws at me. I am also beginning to develop healthier relationships with myself and others.
